31Simon, Simon, behold, aSatan demanded to have you,
The Greek word for  you (twice in this verse) is plural; in verse 32, all four instances are singular
cthat he might sift you like wheat,

1 Peter 5:8

8 dBe sober-minded; ebe watchful. Your fadversary the devil gprowls around hlike a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Revelation of John 12:9-10

9And ithe great dragon was thrown down, jthat ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, kthe deceiver of the whole worldlhe was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now mthe salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers

has been thrown down, owho accuses them day and night before our God.
